Portrait sessions are $150.00 and include one hour of photo time, computer and minor editing time to generate up to fifteen review images (additional review images are $3.00 each), and one 8 x 10 print. Review images are sent to clients via e-mail. Traditional and fine art papers available. Please contact me via e-mail to begin discussing your portrait needs. I'll be happy to send you information regarding print sizes and costs. A portfolio of portrait work samples will soon be added to my Website.

Fine Art Photography
I am available by the hour or assignment to photograph subjects including architecture, gardens, landscapes, horses & cattle, machinery, and art installations. Related services may include Lightroom and Photoshop image editing and enhancement, transferring images to CD or DVD, or preparing images for Website applications. Photography is performed using a high resolution Canon DSLR camera.
Rate: $75.00 per hour (one hour minimum) for photo session work and
$35-$50 per hour for editing (lower rate given with minimum print order of $75). Price may be negotiated for larger photo assignments. Travel time beyond the Boulder-Longmont-Louisville, CO area will be billed at $20.00 per hour. Expenses for materials like CD’s or DVD’s, shipping supplies, and cost for shipping will be additional. Print costs vary and depend on size and quality of archival paper used.
Photography Instruction
I offer one-on-one and small-group instruction on the basics of digital camera photography with an emphasis on equine, landscape and garden subjects. Topics include color vs black & white photography, visualizing and planning your work, camera mechanics, exposure, natural lighting, composition, image storage, and printing. Creating digital composites is another topic that I offer instruction on.
Rate: $50.00 per hour. Travel time beyond the Boulder-Longmont-Louisville, CO area will be billed at $20.00 per hour. Additional costs may include copywork for handouts or for my manual on Garden Photography.
Garden & Landscape Architectural Design
I have been a landscape architect for over twenty-five years. My background includes sixteen years as a designer and environmental planner with the national firm of EDAW (AECOM) in both their San Francisco, CA and Fort Collins, CO offices. Over the past ten years I have created my own business and transitioned to the design and implementation of beautiful residential gardens. Water conservation and responsible yet creative design are strong values for me.
My approach to design work is very thorough and includes careful listening to your vision and desires, understanding your unique property and its relationship to the architecture and surrounding environment, and working within your budget requirements.
The design process can be tailored to meet your needs. I offer conceptual design through preparation of construction documents, as needed. Selecting a landscape contractor, obtaining installation bids, and overseeing the creation of your garden are other important services available. It is through clear communication and on-site creative collaboration between the landscape architect, contractor(s), and client that manifests a truly beautiful garden.
I also do personal installation (design/build) for smaller gardens. My installation labor rate is $30.00 per hour. Additional charges will include use of my truck for material hauling needs at $35.00 per hour.

Rate: $60.00 per hour for general consultation, design work, coordination with other consultants and contractors, and for overseeing on-site installation. A full design service fee estimate can be provided. Travel time beyond the Boulder-Longmont-Louisville, CO area will be billed at $20.00 per hour. Additional expenses may include FAX and drawing/plan copies.
