Colorado Flora

Since I was a kid wandering on my own in the Arizona desert, I have been very attracted to the patterns and textures of vegetation on the landscape.  Becoming a landscape architect further intensified this interest of mine.  Have you ever hugged a ponderosa pine tree and placed your nose right into it’s beautiful reddish-brown bark?  Inhale deeply and you will be rewarded with the wonderful scent of an earthy vanilla.  Hugging a big tree will make you smile.

First off you will see that I have an affinity for the Yucca plant.  It is absolutely glorious!
